Highlights from Labelexpo Americas 2024

Labelexpo Americas 2024 was nothing short of spectacular for our Avery Dennison team. From high booth traffic to engaging events and successful collaborations, our presence at the tradeshow left a lasting impression on our customers, partners and other key stakeholders. 

 

The booth provided a perfect canvas for the first soft launch of our new tagline, Making Possible, highlighting how Avery Dennison is helping to address some of the world's most complex challenges.

 

Beyond the booth

 

Though many connections happened within the booth, our team was busy beyond it, making connections and networking throughout the show floor.

 

RFID Experience

 

We were the proud sponsor of The RFID Experience, an interactive exhibit that highlighted our cutting-edge technology and underscored our commitment to innovation in this growing industry. The showcase educated customers on RFID's capabilities and provided insight into the latest developments from leading retailers that are encouraging RFID in certain products. 

 

Thought Leadership on Innovation Stage

 

Yara Ghoussoub, strategic project manager, took center stage to discuss the latest advancements in linerless labeling technology. Their insights and expertise captivated the audience and positioned us as leaders in the field. In addition, Gary Stegall, a technical sales specialist, spoke at an RFID masterclass session, presenting the intricacies and benefits of RFID technology and further establishing our authority in this area.

Honoring Stan Avery

 

The Label Industry Global Awards celebrate innovation and excellence in the label and packaging industry.

 

The R. Stanton Avery Special Recognition Award recognizes outstanding individuals who reflect the key values and vision of Stan Avery and his innovative breakthroughs that founded the label industry. This year’s award recognized an industry great, Ferdinand Rüesch IV, senior vice president, Global Key Accounts, Anchor Investor Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, Gallus Ferd. Rüesch AG.

 

Our second sponsored award, the Rising Star, recognized Alex Abbott, chief revenue officer, SmartSolve, for their achievements of emerging talent in the label and packaging industry who represent the next generation of leaders.

 

Labelpalooza

 

Labelpalooza, a wordplay on the renowned Lollapalooza music festival, was a fun way to show appreciation for our customers. We hosted customers for an evening of celebration and networking with everything from a 'merch table' to live music, enabling us to strengthen relationships with both current and prospective customers.

 

Thanks to our team's collective efforts and the incredible response from attendees, we look forward to building on this momentum and continuing to innovate and lead in the label and packaging industry.
