Anil K. Sharma is the senior vice president and general manager for Avery Dennison Materials Group North America. He was appointed to this position in April 2025.
In his role, Anil is responsible for the region’s strategic development and growth initiatives spanning innovation, sales, marketing and operations.
Anil joined Avery Dennison in 2010. He previously held the position of senior vice president and general manager for Avery Dennison Materials Group Asia Pacific, where he led sales growth, market development and operational excellence of the Materials Group business in Australia and New Zealand, ASEAN, Indian subcontinent, Sub-Saharan Africa, China, Korea and Japan.
Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Anil was the vice president of sales North America for Johnson Diversey and their food and beverage hygiene businesses. He also held senior commercial and business management positions at Diversey Inc., a global leader in industrial detergents and sanitizers, as well as various roles at Unilever.
Anil is a mechanical engineer and holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
